I am from a white picket fence
from barbie dolls and game boys
I am from a sun flowered themed kitchen
and fresh linen scent
I am from tall oak trees
whose limbs shaded my house
I am from a trampoline and a cat
from Bob and Tracy
I am from blue eyes and freckles
and from biting nails
from working hard
I am from church every Sunday morning
I am from Maw Maw and Paw Paw
from mostacholi and Italian beef
from 50th anniversary's
and from birthday celebrations
BBQ's, camp outs, and watching the sun rise
I am from those moments where you treat others
the way you want to be treated.
I really like your poem! Your work is inspiring! :)
